Want to volunteer?

Sport Makers
Sport Makers is an official Sport England London 2012 legacy programme, which will recruit 50,000 people across England to help make sport happen at a local level. To recieve the monthly Surrey volunteering opportunities email, or to find out about how you could get yourself and your friends more active, email sportmakers@surreycc.gov.uk.
Step into Sport
If you are at a school in Surrey and are volunteering, you can use the Youth Sport Trust's Step into Sport Volunteer Passport to log your hours and get the chance to receive recognition and rewards for your efforts.
If you were previously registered on the Active Surrey Step into Sport programme your hours will have been transferred to the online system and an email sent to you with your log on details.
What you should expect as a volunteer
When you start volunteering you should be given certain information about the opportunity as well as details of certain policies and procedures that are in place to support you as a volunteer. A simple volunteering checklist is available for you to download - use it as a reminder of what your expectations should be as a volunteer and to check if they are supporting you correctly! Download the volunteer checklist.
