Welcome to the P&G Surrey Youth Games!

The P&G Surrey Youth Games is a multi-sports competition, spread over two days, in which all eleven districts and boroughs in Surrey enter teams into fifteen different sporting events. There are events for all ages, including events for young people with disabilities.

Young people attend local coaching sessions in the two months prior to the Games. For many of the players selected the event is their first experience of countywide competition.

Since 1997 The P&G Surrey Youth Games have continued to grow and develop, especially over the past 6 years with the much-valued support of Procter & Gamble. In 2013 we welcome new official sponsors, the Surrey Sports Park, the world-class venue that plays host to the Games each year.

The aim of the Games is to develop sport in Surrey. The Games achieve this by:

  • More young people take part in competitive sport, and continue to take part in sport after the Games
  • More sports clubs become accredited by their National Governing Body, thereby improving the quality of sports clubs in Surrey
  • More people become qualified in sports coaching and officiating
  • New junior sports clubs or sections are created

The event is organised by Active Surrey, in association with each borough and district council in Surrey and a range of sport governing bodies.
