Basketball Coach (full time) - Richmond Knights
Salary: £16,000 - £19,000 pa
Hours: 40 per week
Contract: Full time fixed term
Richmond Knights Basketball Club requires an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to progress our rapidly expanding basketball development programme. The successful applicant will be experienced in establishing & delivering quality coaching sessions within schools, club training and holiday camps as well as coaching teams at national league level and College/University academies. There is also the opportunity to work with our wheelchair basketball club. In addition, the officer will be involved with managing assistant coaches, training up junior leaders and promoting the clubs activities.
Main Duties
i) Plan and deliver a comprehensive basketball training programme across a range of age-groups and ability levels. ii) Develop training sessions in partnership with the local schools, council, college and university. iii) Set-up and deliver inter-school competitions. iv) Manage and coach teams in local and national league competitions/tournaments. v) Manage and coach College/University Academy Teams. vi) Assist the Club Director with delivering our leadership programme to junior leaders. vii) Communicate the activities of the club across a variety of formats, including social media. viii) Act as a role model and mentor to the young people in the club.
Essential skills
i) Trained to a minimum of Level 2 Coach standard, with experience of coaching all abilities from primary school beginners to national league and county/regional players. ii) In-depth knowledge of basketball coaching including fundamental skills, team-play and game-time tactics. iii) Passionate and enthusiastic about helping individuals reach their potential. iv) Ability to communicate effectively across many levels through a variety of formats. v) Pro-active and self-motivated to work to a high standard using your own initiative and to manage your own workload effectively. vi) Must have own vehicle with ability to transport coaching equipment
Preffered skills
i) 1st Aid at work qualification. ii) Safeguarding & Protecting Children certificate. iii) Level 2 Referee & Table Official qualification.

Business Manager, Wesport
Salary: £36,554 – £38,782 per annum
The West of England Sport Trust (Wesport) is seeking a Business Manager. As part of the Senior Management Team this person will help shape the development, impact and future direction of Wesport. This is a full time role that will help to continue the establishment of Wesport as the strategic lead agency for sport and physical activity for the West of England sub-region.

Community Coach (x3), Surrey Cricket
